Senior HR Business Partner
The role of Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for providing dedicated HR support to UKI Commercial functions plus some Global employees based in the UK. You will partner with around 150-200 employees based in our UKI head office, delivering comprehensive HR generalist guidance while collaborating closely with HR Centers of Excellence and senior HR leadership.
In this role, you will be a strategic advisor and trusted partner to UKI Leadership Team members responsible for driving the People agenda and enabling organizational success. You will oversee core HR activities for your business groups such as ER case management, coaching managers, driving engagement, tracking and producing People Insights and supporting talent, performance, and development initiatives. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, influence senior leaders, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
YOUR MAIN FOCUS:
- Building trust and credibility with teams to design and invest in workforce and people planning through coaching, producing data and insights to guide as appropriate, partnering with key leaders and line managers on all aspects of the people agenda.
- Leading annual people cycle activities across performance, talent management and reward, ensuring managers are equipped for quality conversations and upskilled on these processes.
- Leading specific recruitment activities, including liaison with central recruitment functions, agencies and internal/external candidates.
- Acting as the key liaison for HR CoEs (Global Talent, Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, HRIS, Talent Acquisition) to ensure your commercial populations align with global processes and best practices.
- Driving the employee engagement agenda through culture focused activities, pulse checks, trend analysis and action planning, and supporting delivery of learning and development initiatives including DEI values based events.
- Leading employee relations matters, partnering with Finance on budget, reporting and analytics, and supporting or leading ad-hoc HR projects such as Global Onboarding, Health & Wellbeing and Benchmarking.
- Partnering with HR Operations to ensure People and pay related records are maintained effectively and ensure information and material for employees and managers are maintained and updated regularly such as policies, processes and training, to deliver value and improve skills of the employee base you support
- Design local trainings for managers and employees and lead training cascades in collaboration with Global CoEs
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:
You like to develop strong, credible relationships across all levels of the organization, can influence decision-making with integrity, and communicate complex matters in a straightforward way. You also get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment and are passionate about continuous improvement and learning.
Furthermore, you will have:
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role, delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business and your customer group. Experience in FMCG can be beneficial.
- Collaborative, relationship-led approach and a pragmatic ‘can do’ mindset, in order to be successful in this role, along with the ability to influence with integrity.
- Coaching is important to us, and we’re also looking for a strong knowledge of core HR such as performance and talent management, engagement and employee relations.
- Have a good insight into the overall workings of the business and the evolving role of the HR function as enabling business partners.
- Have a partnership mindset and ability to balance empathy/understanding with business realities.
