BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE

 

Reporting into the Revenue & Commercial Operations Senior Manager, this role will support in driving efficiency in the way Coty operates in the UK&I. You will play a vital role in generating business growth through margin expansion coupled with topline focus across the business, supporting the  wider Commercial excellence and broader business with a growth mindset. The focus on data analytics and reporting will be crucial to support in optimising revenue strategies & contributing to consistent revenue growth opportunities. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Revenue & Commerical Operations Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for several levers which contribute towards optimising revenue growth & driving efficiencies for Coty UK&I. You will play a key role in planning revenue and profit maximisation through pricing strategies, alongside in-depth data analysis on how these strategies have played out in the market. This will then support the wider business & key stakeholders to make tactical decisions on future pricing strategies.

You will have owndership of Luxury EPOS reporting, managing the relationship with external agency to ensure all data is accurate and available in a timely manner. You will be responsible for consolidating all data into a weekly reporting to share with the wider business, with key metrics and analysis summary call out for senior stakeholders.

You will be the day to day driver of Commercial excellence principles for the Ireland market, supporting the Senior manager in delivering tactical and strategic direction that is relevant for the market based on strong analytical data. This will include tailored 4Ps stratgey for Ireland, P&L management, promotional strategy planning, product mix analysis and long-term strategic thinking for the Irish market.

With an analytical and detailed lens, you will support the Comex team in providing recommendations following in-depth data analysis to form strategic revenue optimisation plans and growth opportunities for the business across UK&I.

 

The scope of responsibility includes, but does not limit to:

  • CPI Data reporting & Analysis
  • Luxury EPOS reporting & analysis
  • One Red Kite relationship management
  • Comex Management for Ireland Market (P&Ls, promo strategy planning, assortment management & analysis)
  • Stakeholder engagement & management
  • CSSP data support
  • Ad-Hoc revenue optimisation projects (trade investment/corridors, product efficiency analysis)

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

 

We are looking for a highly driven individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for data alongside a willingness to stretch to broader, more strategic thinking. You will need to have a positive, can-do attitude with a dedication to driving business efficiencies & strong growth mindset.

  • Robust analytical skills are a must, as you evaluate multiple & detailed data sources to identify clear commercial insights, KPIs and deliverables.
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding are essential.
  • Strong understanding of P&L building and management
  • Deep understanding of all Revenue Management levers –specifically Trade Terms/ GTN Optimization
  • Shows a strong sense of individual accountability and able to work with autonomy
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across the business with confidence.
  • Effective & confident communication skills
  • Ideally experience in Power BI, Nielsen and other reporting tools.
  • Experience in  the FMCG industry in operational, business or finance partnering roles demonstrating excellent Financial & Commercial acumen
