National Account Manager
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER - 12 months contract

Hybrid working (2-3 days per week in the office) | Full‑time

THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our National Account Manager, you play a critical role in turning Coty’s portfolio into stand‑out, shoppable, scalable growth across The Hut Group. You will own the commercial relationship, build business plans that create mutual value, and deliver best‑in‑class activation across Luxury & Lifestyle Fragrance, suncare, and Mass & Premium Cosmetics — balancing ambition with discipline, and creativity with P&L ownership.
Some of the fantastic things you could work on:
Own the account strategy & joint business plan
• Own the commercial relationship with the key ecommerce retailer group
• Lead annual JBP development (targets, forecasting, and long‑term growth strategy)
• Create and implement market‑leading ecommerce activation plans tailored to retailer and Coty brand priorities
• Influence internal stakeholders with robust commercial rationale and category insight
• Drive end‑to‑end go‑to‑market plans for store distribution rollouts, ensuring seamless, impactful execution
Lead negotiation & commercial performance
• Agree listings for new products and brands as appropriate
• Lead cost price, trade terms, space, and JBP negotiations
• Manage promotional plans, trade budgets, and retailer margin requirements to maximise ROI
• Analyse sales performance, competitor activity, and category trends to make data‑driven recommendations
• Lead cross‑functionally to unlock strong, retailer‑centric promotional plans
Deliver forecasting, financial ownership & operational excellence
• Build robust forecasts aligned to sell‑out plans to ensure exceptional service levels
• Own P&L performance, driving top‑line growth and profitable delivery through gross‑to‑net controls
• Manage investment plans to maximise consumer engagement and return from trade investment
• Prepare financial accrual requests and implement with Commercial teams
• Provide leadership to the Retail Operations Coordinator to ensure operational excellence and flawless execution

You thrive in the UK’s fast, digitally‑savvy beauty landscape - where trends travel quickly, launches go viral, and execution is the difference between “listed” and “loved.”
Some key traits you possess:
• Proven success as a National Account Manager within beauty, fragrance, luxury, or premium FMCG
• Strong experience working with UK ecommerce / pureplayer retailers
• Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building, and presentation skills
• Strong financial acumen, forecasting capability, and P&L ownership experience
• Analytical mindset: able to translate performance and market signals into clear actions
• Highly organised, proactive, and confident balancing multiple priorities
• Comfortable leading cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Retail Operations and broader commercial teams
• Has a flexible approach and adapts to challenges and changing priorities as needed
