Global Merchandising Manager



We’re looking for an experienced Merchandising / Trade marketing Manager to join the Global Merchandising team, in the Coty Consumer Beauty Division – working on brands such as Rimmel London, Max Factor & Bourjois.

Reporting into the Senior Global Merchandising Manager.


The Role


This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage and support the design, development, supply & deployment of permanent merchandising innovations and cosmetic fixtures across all Coty Global markets & Brands.
This role requires both project management and technical skills, with a detailed eye for beauty executions. In addition, we require strong analytical ability and attention to detail (both numerically and aesthetically) to be able to manage all projects within budget, driving consistent quality and adhering to time sensitive critical milestones.

The fundamental purpose of the role is to ensure that Coty brands are presented instore in the most inspirational, competitive way that makes our brands the most desirable to our target consumer vs the competition.

The Mission

Key job accountabilities

  • Managing the end to end process on all permanent merchandising and go-to-market activity across Coty markets
  • Managing the supply process with our Global Vendors on all permanent merchandising projects.
  • Assisting the 3D merchandising product design solutions of new products into the Global fixtures, ensuring fully optimised presentation, shopability and instore impact.
  • Collaborate with both internal/external stake holders, to ensure all elements are deployed, tracked and delivered on time, in full, to all markets.
  • Providing local market support to all markets in both Brand expression and technical guidance for local instore fixture projects, including Capex spending & Distribution status
  • Tracking & reporting of A&CP Budget & Markets CAPEX spending to support Global Merchandising Team
  • Manage and oversee the continual development of all Global merchandising guidelines for markets to execute locally.
  • Drive sustainability across materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyse competitor activity to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry. Share competitor analysis with wider teams.



What you will bring

Skills required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within In-store Merchandising or Trade Marketing.
  • Have sound technical knowledge of permanent merchandising and a strong passion for In-store and Beauty.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with high level of complexity and a wide range of partners/touchpoints.
  • Ability to work autonomously and multitask in fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Logical thinker, with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Team Player: Ability to develop effective working relationships being able to collaborate and influence others demonstrating integrity and respect.
  • Self-starter: Passionate, enthusiastic, thrives on challenges and keeps a healthy attitude under pressure, takes charge of self-development.
  • Capability to work under pressure in a changing environment and to manage unexpected challenges
  • Good technical knowledge about manufacturing processes, materials and passion for sustainability
  • Very strong knowledge/skills of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
