BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE

 

In this you will be fully responsible for managing 18 months rolling forecast for our main brands, working collaborative with key stakeholders through the S&OP Process

Full responsibility for a portfolio of circa £20M/Year.

Main KPIS: Forecast Accuracy and BIAS. Support KPIS: Service Levels

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate, timely forecasts are delivered to the business. Ownership of the brand volume/value forecasts in Manugistics.
  • Analyzing portfolio performance to understanding trends, providing the business with Root Cause Analysis for deviations and adjust the forecast accordingly.
  • Responsible for communication of forecasts and resolution of issues at key business meetings.
  • Leading the brand reviews and working collaboratively and cross-functionally to understand and deliver the brand / customer requirements.
  • Maintaining and developing Manugistics, Rapid Response and SAP, as the key forecast business tools.
  • Providing historical and forward analysis on the specific section of business by sku, brand and customer.
  • Communicating supply chain issues that could affect the business.
  • Communicating and collaborating closely with the International Supply Chain and Global teams to ensure the UK’s requirements are clearly understood & met, and to ensure smooth, timely supply of product including NPD.
  • Providing analysis on S&OP inputs and outputs for each cycle
  • Manage the portfolio in the system in line with Global standards
  • Manage all building blocks: launches, promotions, and One Shots
  • Driving process excellence including championing the S&OP process, continuous improvement, and best practice.
  • To carry out any other reasonable management requested task.

 

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

 

  • Previous experience in a similar forecasting/demand planning/supply chain role essential.
  • Fully proficient in standard IT packages.
  • Advanced Excel user essential for the role
