Customer Director - Grocery

BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE
This role is Customer Director – your role is to build profitable sales growth across Coty Luxury & CB brands. You report into Sales VP UKI.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for Net revenue growth, share growth and delivery of joint business plans
• Responsible for customer profitability and P&L, focused on maximising return on investment
• Full ownership of the go to market strategy to drive commercial competitive advantage for Coty
• Build strategic plans to grow specified categories of business within the customer to deliver short and long term company, customer and consumer objectives
• Develop strategic projects with the customer to deliver future growth of the business
• Responsible for management and coaching team of National Account Executives, National Account Managers and/or Senior National Account Managers
• Responsible for developing annual team and individual objectives
• Extract insights from data, identifying the implications and ideas for customer growth
• Facilitate others in generating ideas, leading the creative process internally and externally
• Any other responsibilities as required associated with the Customer/Channel that you are managing.
Specific requirements for E-Commerce CD:
• Work closely with the Marketing teams to support the planning and effectiveness of Social and Search spend
• As a lead market work closely with the Global Ecommerce teams on developing medium/long term go to market plans, ecommerce improvement opportunities and global customer management
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
• Sales and customer management background
• Experience of managing various distribution channels including but not limited to department stores, independent chains and high street retailers
• Strong commercial awareness with experience in P&L management, budget planning, forecast and customer management
• Experience in management of commercial trade term agreements, annual Joint business plans or senior commercial negotiations
• A proven strong negotiator with a results focused mentality
• Knowledge of digital arena and how to grow e-commerce for your customer/channel
• High level of knowledge of UK retail environment
• High awareness of what it takes to win in the retail and customer environment
• Proficient Excel, numeracy and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Specific skills needed for E-commerce CD:
• Experience of managing various Ecommerce distribution channels
• A detailed knowledge of the ecommerce shopping journey and the critical elements
required to drive awareness, traffic & conversion
