THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our Assistant Business Manager – Marc Jacobs, you play a critical role in supporting the Business Manager to deliver sales targets, lead the team by example, and protect the bold DNA of the brand. You balance people leadership, shop‑floor presence, and operational excellence to create high‑impact customer experiences.
You will be reporting to the Business Manager, and you will manage:
Sales Performance & Customer Experience
- Support delivery of monthly sales targets and Coty KPIs
- Lead by example on the shop floor, driving conversion and UPT
- Deliver elevated make‑up and fragrance consultations that inspire loyalty
- Build strong customer relationships through confident storytelling
- Champion upselling while maintaining a premium Marc Jacobs experience
Team Leadership & Development
- Support day‑to‑day leadership of the counter team
- Coach and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective goals
- Lead by example in service, artistry, and brand representation
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members
- Step into leadership during Business Manager absence when required
Excellence of Execution
- Protect Marc Jacobs brand equity at all times on counter
- Ensure VM, merchandising, and stock standards are executed flawlessly
- Maintain strong commercial awareness of brand performance and competitors
- Support accurate completion of rotas, payroll, and month‑end processes
- Adhere to grooming, uniform, and retailer Code of Conduct standards
Operations & Processes
- Use iPad tools for reporting, communication, and VM guidelines
- Support compliance with Coty systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintain secure handling of systems, passwords, and documentation
YOU ARE A COTY FIT

- Proven experience in luxury beauty retail with strong make‑up artistry
- First experience coaching or supporting others in a leadership capacity
- Strong commercial mindset with a passion for exceeding targets
- Natural leadership presence with the ability to influence and motivate
- Ownership mentality — you treat the counter like it’s your own business
- Detail‑driven with a high standard of execution
- Team‑focused, collaborative, and eager to grow
- Fragrance knowledge preferred
