RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Assistant Brand Manager you will support the Brand Manager in implementing the operational marketing strategy within the UK market. This involves deploying the Global Strategy locally and assisting with the launch of new product developments (NPDs) created by the Global teams.
The role requires full ownership of project P&Ls, acting as a key support in business and local brand management. It also involves the overall execution of marketing programs, including product launches in the UK and Ireland. Additionally, the role entails constant monitoring of the Marketing Promotional programme, ensuring that all promotional objectives are executed on brand, on time, and within budget.
Your main focus :
- Own/support the development and delivery of local initiative launch plans in collaboration with internal key stakeholders (e.g., sales team, trade marketing, brand finance) and external partners (e.g., media agency), depending on the size and importance of the initiative.
- Manage brand budget, ensuring effective and accurate budget administration, including handling invoices, monthly accruals, and budget trackers.
- Assist in brand media management, including briefs, agency liaison, global and fashion house approvals, and internal alignment, with Brand Manager support.
- Oversee local project management, including P&L assessment, to ensure investments meet target KPIs and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with internal and international merchandising teams to design and produce local POS elements, adhering to Global guidelines and UK market requirements.
- Liaise with internal PR/Influencer Marketing teams to drive consumer engagement and increase both online and offline reach.
- Work with internal teams to forecast new initiatives and ensure correct phasing in line with sell-out ambitions.
- Promote an online-first mentality, identifying disruptive ideas that connect with consumers and deliver strong ROI.
- Conduct pre- and post-analysis of launches and promotions, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Provide brand analysis and share reporting on a monthly basis, offering insights to relevant team members, with support from the Brand Manager.
- Support the Brand Manager in the co-management of the S&OP process, driving insights and actions for accurate forecasting of new and ongoing stock.
- Assist the Brand Manager in creating and implementing the UK brand strategy, including short-term intervention plans and long-term brand vision goals.
- Develop and deliver brand presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including retailers, media owners, and internal teams.
- Support the management of potential experiential events for the brand from concept to execution, owning parts of the process.
- Produce local brand bibles and ensure all marketing elements are available from the International teams for TM, VM, and sales.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Brand Manager as required.
The team consists of a Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Manager and Marketing Assistant and you will work closely together with several departments such as Marketing, Sales, Visual Merchandising and Influencer and PR teams.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You have the ability to think creatively, are highly driven and self-motivated. You are digitally literate and culturally plugged in. You are well versed in UK/EU/Global mass fragrance and consumer beauty universes and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.
Other than that, you:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a Business-related degree would be preferable
- Have experience in a similar role ideal & an understanding/appreciation of the beauty market and retail environment required
- Past experience in budget management and a strong understanding of financials
- Have worked with the Microsoft Office suite with strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and excel.
