THE ROLE
About the role
The Retail Excellence Manager is to bring the brand to new heights, build visibility and advocacy in Malaysia. To ensure excellence in service at all retail channels, building and leverage the synergy between offline to online. The Retail Manager’s objective is to drive revenues, build and maximize sales budget, building excellence service in-store, make good use of all the resources to ensure that top line and bottom line KPIS are delivered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Retail Excellence Strategy
- Develop & implement the overall Retail Excellence initiative, special projects, operating plan and budget
- Implement retail excellence standard in accordance with brand guidelines to ensure consistency with overall image and service standard of the brand
- Develop and oversee the implementation of customer centric initiatives designed to drive growth, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Analyze all relevant KPIs and implement all necessary actions with the aim of elevating the Customer Engagement and boost sales performance
- Partner with ecommerce team to design and roll out the omnichannel journey and implement the process and roadmaps
- Being analytical and partner with Sales & Marketing Team to take solid action plan in achieving sales objectives
- In cooperation with regional office, set-up the right tools to track progress and deliver on target, programs efficiency, ROI, market trends
- Supervise Training and Retail team to promote retail and operation training to store staff to ensure quality service and customer journey is well-maintained within all stores
- Lead retail team with focus win in top doors strategy: actively engage teams in winning in top doors: ensure mission and objectives are understood to deliver on targets, follow up on executions and performance
- Keeping close relationship with landlord and departmental store partners, so as to update the leasing market information
- Participate in negotiation with landlord for new lease or re-new of lease
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience of retail management, training and/or development in specialty stores, most recently at a senior level
- Prosses high level of commercial acumen, self- initiative, combined with a drive for results
- Good team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders and develop tactics to achieve sales and contribution objectives and the efficient use of the resources
- Excellence in analytical mind, communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurship mind-set
- Good command of written and spoken in English, Malay and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
