Retail Business Insights Executive
As our Retail Business Insights Executive, you will partner closely with the Retail Excellence Manager to deliver actionable performance insights and market intelligence, connecting sales, productivity, retail operations, and market trends to support effective decision-making and drive performance, productivity, and retail excellence.

As our Retail Business Insights Executive, you play a critical role in monitoring retail performance, analysing sales and productivity metrics, gathering market intelligence, and translating insights into clear recommendations that support business reviews, retail operations, and performance improvement.
You will be reporting to Retail Excellence Manager, and you will manage:
Retail Performance & Business Insights
- Monitor and analyze sales, productivity and other performance metrics to support effective business and retail decision making.
- Connect performance data insights to retail operations, customer satisfaction results and market activities and their impact on daily performance across channels.
- Identify gaps, risks, trends and growth opportunities from data; present insights with actionable strategies to drive performance (sales, productivity) and retail excellence (compliance, brand guideline, standards, service excellence).
- Support Retail Excellence Manager with business reviews preparation and related materials.
Market Intelligence & Retail Performance
- Conduct regular market visits to gather on-ground intelligence, including competitor activities and operational challenges; consolidate feedback from Retail Specialists and front-liners, and highlight key findings with recommended actions.
- Analyze feedback and ROI of sales events and podiums, summarizing findings, areas done well, and gaps or learnings for future improvement.
Resource Planning & Operational Support
- Support resource planning and perform headcount analysis for sales events, podiums and all activities.
- Govern and control the usage of testers by monitoring, tracking and analyzing usage.
- Assist Retail Manager in ad hoc projects for continuous improvement, data consolidation and analysis as required.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a Retail Business Insights Executive, you thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment. You are highly curious, analytical, detail-oriented, independent yet collaborative, proactive, resourceful, and accountable, with strong critical thinking and storytelling skills.
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial planning, business analysis, or performance analysis.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, beauty, or luxury industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail KPIs is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to analyse large data sets, identify trends, gaps, productivity drivers, and operational risks.
- Proficiency in visualisation tools such as Power BI is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, critical thinking, and storytelling skills.
- Strong accountability, with the ability to monitor and follow through.
