Objective:
- Accelerate sales and profitability, gain market share and ranking across channels
Responsibilities:
- Shape and drive commercial strategies and business growth
- Own mid to long term channel strategies to accelerate sales, drive margin and gain market share and ranking across all channels.
- Define channel strategies based on the company’s business model and considering industry shift and consumer behaviour
- Identify new business opportunities and lead business development initiatives across existing and emerging channels
- Own omni channel commercial KPI setting, tracking and drive results by leading strategic and operational initiatives to achieve business and financial KPIs
- Collaborate with Marketing on 360 launch and animation strategies across channels to drive sales and profitability
- Drive performance and innovation
- Evaluate financial performance and translate insights into strategic action plans.
- Oversee productivity roadmap and ensure optimisation of employee and store productivity
- Lead CRM strategies, collaborate with Marketing and leverage on ePoS data to drive customer loyalty and enhance productivity
- Drive culture of continuous improvement for higher effectiveness and efficiency and accelerate innovation.
- Responsible for sales and accurate stock forecast
- Enable and elevate retail excellence
- Oversee strategies to enhance service delivery and drive retail excellence to elevate customer experience
- Ensure effective rewards structure to drive the right selling behaviours
- Key account planning and management
- Establish and grow strategic partnerships with key clients and retailers, fostering trust-based relationships that supports mutual business objectives.
- Team development:
- Coach and develop commercial team to deliver commercial KPIs
- Identify key talents within the commercial team for further development for succession planning.
REQUIREMENTS |
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience of luxury retail team management, training and/or development in specialty stores, most recently at a senior level
- Prosses high level of commercial acumen, self- initiative, combined with a drive for results
- Good team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders and develop tactics to achieve sales and contribution objectives and the efficient use of the resources
- Excellence in analytical mind, communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurship mindset
- Growth mindset and transformational leadership in retail business
- Good command of written and spoken in English, Malay and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR |
- Own mid/long term commercial strategy to deliver market sales and margin
- Execute customer engagement strategy
- Responsible for sell-in (NR) and sell-out (Retail) sales plans, providing commercial analysis of trading performance (sales and profitability) in omni-channels
- Support execution of channel and retailer strategy and identify new commercial opportunities to maximise growth in all channels
- Drive retail excellence in stores and counters in areas of customer service and operational excellence
- To deliver successful commercial forward sales and event planning with accurate stock forecasting to support the plans
- This role is central to the entire commercial planning and development of the business and needs to be highly collaborative and work closely with key stakeholders
