About the role 
We are looking for an Assistant Commercial Excellence Manager to join the Malaysia Luxury team. Reporting to Commercial Excellence Manager, this is a critical role that will be responsible for re-shaping and expanding the retail footprint of Coty’s brands within Malaysia beauty business landscape. 



  • Responsible for managing sales and profit plan as well as support the organisation to achieve strategic and financial goals of the brands in the market.
  • Define commercial strategy for each retailer in line with budgeted targets to reach requested sales and profitability levels.
  • Gradually shifting customers’ mindset from “traditional trading” to “concept selling” for more elevated in-market presence and sales quality
  • Developing promotional plans in conjunction with Marketing, aimed at driving sell-in and sell-out in selected point of sales
  • Support launches and promotions: this includes monthly demand forecasting and supply management
  • Continuously improve in-store visibility by negotiating additional and/or better space, and retailer support
  • Capture business opportunities through close customer partnership such as listing of new brands or brand lines and expansion to new doors
  • Providing valuable insights on brand and competitor performance, as well as market landscape and trends
  • Working with multi-party, internal and external stakeholders for seamless, 360 sales execution



  • 3-5 years of sales and key account experience
  • A proven track record of successful collaboration with customers, resulting in strong commercial results
  • Resilient and organised, with the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial, agile and results-oriented for commercial delivery and proactive risk-management
  • Team player, ability to develop effective working relationships both internally & externally, and excel in a multi-cultural environment
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
