Within the Supply Chain function sit our Planning teams. With a population of over three hundred people
these teams are a competitor leading, purpose built Global Hub, covering a multitude of Planning areas where we share best practice in a centralized and standard way to deliver industry leading service at
best cost and the right level of inventory.
Our Global Supply Planning team is an important part of Coty’s business. Sitting within the Planning
zone of the Supply Chain function the team are responsible for ensuring our products are made and
delivered to the right distribution centers, on time and in full. This is achieved by delivering the best balance of service, inventory, cost and sustainability, that delivers the Company’s revenue and cashflow objectives.
The Senior Manager, Planning and Warehouse leads a team of professionals to deliver the Planning strategy in our Plants, balancing cash, cost and service whilst ensuring best in class results for agility.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Co-create the long-term departmental strategy with the MPS Planning Director and the Plant GM, engaging the team and stakeholders to the vision and goals
- Define and lead short and medium-term strategies, aligned with the Planning vision and long-term strategy, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement so that KPIs and deliverables are successfully executed
- Build dependable and partnering relationships with key senior stakeholders across a global network to deliver the agility program and targets
- Daily operational leadership to deliver best in classes processes and ensuring all tasks are based on the operating strategy
- Lead the resolution of problems escalated, by creating mitigation plans and engaging the team to the solution, following the relevant process; Escalate the issues further, as necessary, making recommendations for change and leading the change process to successful implementation
- Be a strategic partner by delivering, optimizing, and analyzing reports and projections for the assigned scope, identifying anomalies, trends and intelligence making recommendations accordingly
- Provide Plant input to the annual portfolio review, then execute the agreed PIPO/discontinuation strategies with the Panning Hub
- Root cause the previous month key deviations on POSS measures, reporting findings, proposing recommendations and updating the glidepaths for the coming months as appropriate
- Collaborate with the Plant GM and the Planning team to optimize cost and cash vs the aligned strategy
- Be an active member of the Plant Leadership Team, co-creating with the team to deliver the overall Plant CBN
Leading the Team:
- Define and set individual and team goals, standards of performance and KPIs ensuring stretch and accountability to deliver
- Promote a culture of inclusivity and self-development within your team
- Role model the meaningful review of performance through the annual appraisal process and continuous touch points throughout year
- Ensure team members are onboarded and set up for success in their role, developing skills and competencies from starter to experienced team member
- Build the capability of the team, and the members individually, through coaching and development
- Ensure 100% completion of your direct reports and the wider team for all people initiatives (such as goal setting, performance reviews, mandatory training completion, Code of Conduct)
- Coach and engage Planning Managers in people management and developing their teams to ensure talent retention and succession pipelines are created
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead the development and improvement of processes and tools using analytical and critical thinking skills
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to develop their ideas/ways of working
- Identify improvement opportunities, gain buy in and lead the implementation successfully by engaging the team
- Own and drive RCA (root cause analysis) processes, coaching the team in this process
Project Management:
- Define projects for team members, guiding and providing strategic input
- Represent Planning initiatives and projects delivery in leadership forums
- Lead projects as necessary, ensuring successful delivery through collaborative working relationships

QUALIFICATIONS |
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a Supply Chain discipline
- Planning mastery – understanding of key systems (such as E2 Open, SAP, JDA, OMP, Excel) with experience of Supply Planning and strong knowledge of Supply Chain end to end
- Effective communication and influencing skills at mid-management level
- Experience leading a department and developing the team within
- Experience leading and delivering change
- Experience creating short to medium-term operational strategies
- Experience with building relationships with mid-management professionals
- Experience delivering KPIs – for self and through others
- Experience with large scale project management
- Excellent priority setting
