Senior Training Executive

THE ROLE

The Senior Training Executive / Assistant Training Manager assists the Training Manager in implementing learning and development (L&D) activities according to the people development strategy and business strategy. He/ She will deliver and implement the activities according to the L&D plan to achieve organizational goals across Hong Kong, Macau, and business partners.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Propose and support the planning and design of training materials, sales development initiatives, assessment tools and processes based on sales diagnosis
  • Implement talent development process and framework for talents acquisition and identification
  • Design and implement the career development plans for the retail sales team to facilitate their career development
  • Implement and monitor the training development projects and initiatives. Provide the management team of the regular reports and review for the effectiveness of implementation
  • Deliver learning programs to shops / counters or business partners following the annual the L&D calendar
  • Facilitate ad-hoc learning interventions based on unplanned needs
  • Deliver and facilitate the new joiner onboarding programs – New Employee Orientation, Selling Program, etc.
  • Manage organization and logistics of training sessions (in class and e-learning), to ensure the training delivery is effective, applicable, and cost efficient
  • Be part of the internal coaches to provide retail coaching to staff

 

Measure and Follow-up actions:

  • Record and track BA performance ensuring well trained, and everyone equipped 
  • Measure and follow-up results of each training session to improve L&D activity
  • Assist on conducting learning needs assessment with targeted groups and participate in defining relevant learning interventions to meet the needs
  • Monitor participant evaluations (in class and e-learning) and mandatory KPIs 
  • Conduct field visits with tracker / Shop in Shops regularly to ensure the seamless execution in stores
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University graduate or training related disciplines
  • 1 - 2 years relevant working experience in training, beauty experience preferred, retail
  • Managing experiences in retail frontline is an advantage
  • Good communication skills, customer service oriented and good team-player
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate good facilitation skills and ability to engage staff
  • Enthusiastic and leading by example
  • Supportive team player
  • Strong Self-initiative and well organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Adaptable/flexible – able to multi-task
