Product Quality Technician

 ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

We’re looking for a Product Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team, taking care of maintain quality standards for finish good and quality level for external vendors, reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Maintain systems and indicators to measure the quality performance of production areas, reporting these results internally on a monthly and daily basis.
• Take the necessary actions (Quality surveillance, technical assistance, reinforcement of the inspections...) in order to ensure continuous improvement of Quality in Production filling line.
• Establish and implement the necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of Quality issues across all departments (production, technical department, purchasing, planning...).
• Auditor in packaging lines in terms GMP, 5S and Quality
• Lead and track the improvement actions on the components of his/her Value stream and assigned suppliers, performing technical or assessment visits when needed

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• CFGS, preferred Engineering Degree or similar (Grado Medio, Superior)
• Ability to manage Database and reporting tools
• Advanced user in office tools
• English high level (First Certificate Level desired)
• Teamwork-communication skills
• Customer & Consumer Focused + Sense of urgency
• Analytical Mindset

Desirable:

• GMP + ISO knowledge (mandatory procedure management)
• Experience with TQM Tools (CA cycle, flowcharting, Pareto and fishbone diagrams).
• SAP Knowledge
• Quality Audit experience
