Scientist - Fragrance Technology Development

Reporting to a Senior manager/Senior Principal Scientist, he/she will be supporting the Fragrance Design & Technology Development Team on new fragrance technologies projects including new formats and new chassis. In this role he/she will be responsible for:

• Running literature research, patents landscape and competitive landscape.
• Identifying new raw materials from suppliers and testing them in the fragrance
• Context
• Formulating cosmetic products (body lotion, shower gel, EDT) to support new
• fragrance technology development
• Delivering prototypes of new chassis that will meet consumer needs and marketing
• Requests
• Ensuring the feasibility of new technologies and new chassis including all the
• technical aspects such as performance, stability, making process, microbiology,
• safety, regulatory requirements
• Supporting the other team members for samples preparation and evaluation
• Ensuring effective written and oral communication with weekly reports and
• presentations

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or a master’s degree in chemistry or materials science with previous working
• experience in the lab
