PRICING & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE INTERN  

Global Travel Retail team

June/early July starting

Coty is seeking a talented, highly motivated intern to work with Coty's Pricing, BI and CMI team within the Global Travel Retail team.  The role should be a good fit for candidates interested in the field of travel retail and beauty industry with an analytical mind-set and a strong attention to details. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As our PRICING & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE INTERN you are responsible for supporting the team on various and diversified tasks related to pricing and sell-out analysis. 

You will help the Pricing and Business Analysts on their operational daily tasks. You will also help building a weekly newsletter to share the Global Travel Retail team the latest updates in the industry.  

Your main focus:  

Pricing & operational pricing support 

• Support the TR Europe price increase process, including data preparation, analysis, checks and follow-up. 

• Manage operational pricing topics for TR Europe, including VAR, missing prices, pricing claims and other ad-hoc requests. 

• Perform detailed pricing analysis across Travel Retail Europe, comparing Coty prices with competitors and domestic markets. 

Sell-out, Shop Trends & market intelligence 

• Support sell-out checks and Shop Trends data processing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency before reporting. 

• Investigate data gaps, anomalies or inconsistencies and follow up with external agencies or internal stakeholders when required. 

• Help structure and maintain the filing organization for sell-out and Shop Trends data. 

• Support the quarterly Generations submission process, ensuring timely and accurate data preparation. 

• Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics and industry trends to contribute to a weekly Travel Retail newsletter 

Reporting, presentations & business updates 

• Support the creation and update of reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate key findings to stakeholders. 

• Contribute to ad-hoc business updates, with a focus on clear, actionable insights. 

• Support slide updates for key business cycles such as AOP, Strat Plan and other leadership presentations. 

• Assist with day-to-day data management and analysis across pricing, business intelligence and market intelligence topics. 

The Hub, dashboards & automation 

• Contribute to dashboard development in The Hub, from business brief preparation to testing and follow-up with the agency. 

• Support data checks for new dashboard integrations, such as stock data or other business-critical datasets. 

• Act as a key support contact for dashboard bugs, data issues and enhancement requests. 

• Contribute to ad-hoc projects linked to data, reporting, pricing, market insights and business intelligence. 

• Support live feed automation and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks as much as possible.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT 

You have an analytical mind-set with problem solving skills and are interested in Travel Retail and the beauty industry. As the Pricing, BI and CMI Intern, you enjoy working with numbers and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you: 

• Demonstrated interest for Luxury industry and/or Beauty 

• You are in the finalizing phase of your study doing a master in business administration or relevant field 

• Have a strong interest in pricing, analytics, and business performance 

• Have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset 

• Are fast, rigorous, and detail-oriented in your execution 

• Are organized, autonomous, and proactive 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

• Highly organized, autonomous, and proactive approach 

• You are creative, enthusiastic and have good communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Flexible, able to adapt to changes 

• Team player 

• Curious and eager to learn. 

• Fluent English and French
