THE ROLE:

 

Provide advanced regulatory support to internal and external customers in order to ensure that all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, according to legal requirements and corporate guidelines to ensure compliance of FRAGRANCES.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

 

Regulatory Support

  • Respond to regulatory requests from internal and external clients related to FRAGRANCE compliance
  • Acquire information necessary to accurately determine product compliance.
  • Develop detailed understanding of all applicable regulations.
  • Ensure product submissions are in strict compliance with COTY requirements, global regulations and Industry standards.
  • Provide regulatory consultation as needed for development of fragrance compounds
  • Identify needs (i.e., changes in regulations, ingredients, and supply patterns) to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Acquire and manipulate data to accurately determine product or ingredient compliance.
  • Create customized reports to be used for analysis of policy and regulatory impact assessments
  • Identify issues relevant to business and propose appropriate solutions
  • Follow the upcoming regulations in their field of expertise, propose action plan, communicate and lead implementation
  • Monitor emerging regulatory/legislative issues and take actions within the framework of the Regulatory Surveillance process

 

Processes and Systems Management

  • Report gaps in database integrity.
  • Develop and implement routine procedures to challenge data integrity through audits and queries of regulatory databases.
  • Develop innovative tools and PC-based solutions to meet emerging Regulatory and customer requirements.

 

Customer Support

  • Support the compliance of appropriate documentation to meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Provide technical feedback and instructions to assist creative community in creating, selecting or, modifying submissions to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop relationships with internal & external safety and regulatory contacts to facilitate business relationships.

Team Support

  • Propose and lead projects; coordinate others in team environment. Provide training to team members and new hires

 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES

 

  • University Degree in scientific field
  • Preferred: Advanced scientific or technical degree, preferably in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Toxicology, Regulatory or related degree (i.e. Pharmacology)
  • Entry level or 3-5 related experience in the cosmetic or personal care products industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Utilize good judgment and makes timely, practical, and technically sound decisions.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements including technical criteria and/or specifications
  • Broad knowledge of regulatory framework
  • Excellent analytical and product management skills.
  • Demonstrate high-level of team spirit and willingness to be flexible and agile.
