FINANCE INTERN  for TRAVEL RETAIL EUROPE

Coty is seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to join Coty's Travel Retail Europe Finance Team.

As Finance Intern, you will report to one of the Budget Controllers.

This internship is based in the Coty head office in Geneva (Switzerland).

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance Intern, you will support the Budget Controllers in their day-to-day operations. In the second phase, after having gained understanding of the processes and the business, you will be responsible for analyzing the business and managing the financial operations of a group of customers.

Your main focus:

Phase 1: Support budget controllers. The support will mainly consist of:

• P2P process (PO requests, GR checks, closing POs, etc. and coordination with commercial team)
• Invoice coding

Phase 2: Financial responsibilities for one group or around 15 customers within Travel Retail Europe. These responsibilities include:

• P2P process (PO requests, GR checks, closing POs, etc. and coordination with commercial team)
• Invoice coding
• Month end closing (P&L analysis, accrual setting, accrual reversals)
• Audit request support
• Financial support to Sales Teams (financial data delivery, ad-hoc analyses, forecast support, etc.)
• Closely working with internal and external partners to monitor the performance. You will drive business opportunities and challenges based on the daily, monthly data analysis.

You will work closely with finance team which consists of Budget Controllers and the Finance Director. As Travel Retail is at the heart of the many different departments within Coty, you will be working with marketing and sales teams. You will be involved in cross-functional activities and projects and are responsible for contributing to the brand’s equities and customer experience online and offline.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You enjoy numbers and you are data-driven.  As our Finance Intern in Travel Retail Europe, you have an analytical mindset and very organized. You get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Clear written and spoken communication – Able to make the complex simple.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
• Full proficiency in English. French and other languages a plus.
• Full mastery of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP and database tools (Power BI) is a plus.
• Organized: You have a systematic, effective, and efficient working style.
• Pro-active: You take the initiative to solve problems. You take the full ownership of the tasks given to you.
• Team Player: You develop effective working relationships. You collaborate with and influence others. You demonstrate integrity and respect.
