RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Junior Visual Merchandising Manager, you will support the execution of in-store visual merchandising strategies and ensure brand consistency across retail environments. This role focuses on assisting with on-shelf executions, in-store animations, and promotional builds while maintaining high standards of visual presentation.
Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:
- Visual Merchandising Support
- Assist in implementing visual merchandising strategies for South Africa across multiple brands.
- Support the creation of brand plans and retailer-specific solutions.
- Budget Assistance
- Help track VM budgets and monitor expenses.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes under guidance.
- Project Coordination
- Assist with the installation of merchandising materials and ensure timely execution.
- Prepare basic reports on implementation and share insights with the team.
- Brand Innovation
- Support preparation of presentations, planograms, and trend reports.
- Assist in developing retailer-specific proposals and display solutions.
- Inventory & Forecasting
- Help manage inventory levels of non-saleable items and maintain accurate records.
- Sales & Store Support
- Collect documentation for store openings and installations.
- Assist with ongoing maintenance of visual merchandising units.
- Trade Marketing
- Support in-store marketing executions and ensure compliance with global standards.
- Assist in briefing suppliers for activations and promotional displays.
- Competitor & Market Insights
- Participate in store visits and share observations on trends and competitor activity.
- Supplier Coordination
- Help manage relationships with suppliers and ensure quality standards are met.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You have a passion for beauty! As a Junior Visual Merchandising Manager, you will develop multi-tasking skills and get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you have:
- Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Design, or related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience in visual merchandising or retail marketing.
- Understanding of retail trends and customer preferences.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Are able travel locally for store visits and installations.
