RESPONSIBILITIES
The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with the assigned brands/product groups. This includes creating and maintaining forecast models, integrating business intelligence and inputs from sales, marketing, finance, customers, and other sources. The Demand Planner is the Supply Chain integration point into the commercial organization and plays a crucial role in the monthly S&OP process of the business unit.
Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:
- Generate & maintain a 12 to 18-month rolling forecast for assigned market/category.
- Gather market intelligence from distributors and commercial team to develop future forecast.
- Analyze data (sales monitoring, trends, deviations, etc.) with relevance to improve the quality of forecasts (performance indicators: Mape90, SPP1 & SPP3).
- Prepare the consolidation of the forecasts, explain, and reconcile the variances vs. financial budget
- Identify Business Risks and Opportunities to be presented in the various instances of the S&OP cycle.
- Manage short term opportunities via relevant forecast increase process based on business intelligence/ opportunities received
- Participate in weekly connects with Customer Service teams to ensure orders are processed and shipped timeously
- Participate in bi-weekly Supply Review connects with Planning HUBs in Europe to review short to medium terms risks

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You have a passion for beauty! As a Junior Visual Merchandising Manager, you will develop multi-tasking skills and get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you have:
- Minimum 3 years Demand Planning/Supply Planning experience
- Cosmetics goods or FMCG industry experience would be preferable
- Sales and Operation Planning
- Exposure to working within a Distributor Model
- Exposure to working within Global Organisation
Technical Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Team working skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns
- Good planning and organizational skills effectively and efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects. Ability to plan ahead and manage time.
- Ability to work with a wide range of audiences in diverse environments.
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
