The Riverside Technical E and I resource will be responsible for:

 

Leadership

  • Ensures Safety first and foremost, and champions safety above all other activity
  • Demonstrates leadership and OWNERSHIP
  • Displays high standards (lead by example) in all key performance areas (safety, quality, housekeeping etc)
  • Contributes to the facility maintenance plan, ensures information is communicated, training occurs, and measures are in place to ensure maintenance is completed on-time
  • Facilitates constructive resolution of issues within and between shifts.
  • Ensures Coty policy and standards are met
  • Resolves issues within the team in accordance to COTY Values
  • Communicates help needed when/before issues arise.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality
  • Flows to the work as needed – flexible to work non-core hours to support facility work, operations, and projects
  • Contributes to troubleshooting motors, dispensers, plcs, wiring etc
  • Understands the relationship between the Warehouse Management System, the control systems, the conveyors and the automated picking control systems
  • Takes proactive steps to find root cause and put steps in place to prevent reoccurrences

 

THE ROLE

 

This role will be responsible for:

 

Technical and Decision Making

  • Leverages facilities knowledge, plumbing, electrical, HVAC knowledge to support the facility and it’s operations
  • Leverages electrical, mechanical and systems expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Leads others leveraging electrical, mechanical and systems knowledge
  • Creates plans that are creative and realistic across operations
  • Learns technology and interfaces with resources to enable effective planning, analysis, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Sorts through complex issues, recognizes key issues, and develop realistic action plans to correct
  • Strong system skills including troubleshooting and the ability to quickly learn

 

Results and Actions Accountability

  • Safety First Mentality
  • Accountable for Maintenance tracking and results as assigned
  • Accountable for facility support vendors when needed
  • On-call as needed to support facility and project work
  • Holds others accountable by:
  1. Setting/clarifying expectations
  2. Providing feedback/clarifying consequences
  3. Providing positive reinforcement and training
  4. Collaborating with the Line Leaders, project leaders and leadership
  • Timely completion of Safety and Quality training as scheduled
  • Ensures timely completion of the facility Maintenance Program
  • Ensures teams are working toward target proficiency in maintenance
  • Ensures facility maintenance program is integrated with Storeroom parts and procedures
  • Ensures shift transition communications are effective
  • Escalates issues effectively as needed

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

Demonstrates high standards (leads by example) in all key performance areas; maintains a high level of confidentiality, builds team capability, and has Basic Microsoft skills.  Strong team / technical experience required.  Experience with maintenance plans and executing maintenance tasks required. Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and suggest and implement renovation and improvement projects.  Creates standard work processes and metrics related to the facility.

 

Essential:

  • Requires 3 years of electrical and mechanical experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Personal flexibility flow to work and flex hours to meet business, maintenance, and project needs

 

Desirable:

  • Warehouse management and control systems experience
  • Creative idea generator and can- do attitude.

 

This person will influence maintenance plans and schedules related to facilities as well as manage plumbing and mechanical systems.  This person must have good communication skills and be able to work across teams.
