ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for skin care specialists who specialize in the field of skin health and beauty. They may work directly with the in-store BA’s; training them about the brand awareness, product features, benefits and rituals and with the shoppers to provide them with personalized skin care treatments, or using combination of scientific knowledge and artistic skill to achieve their goals. They must be able to understand complex dermatological issues related to the skin while also being able to effectively communicate with shoppers about how to best take care of their skin.
THE ROLE
A skin care specialist typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Performing facials, and other cosmetic services that promote healthy skin
- Providing recommendations and instructions regarding proper skin care practices such as appropriate use of sunscreens and moisturizers.
- Explaining the procedure for treatment, any associated risks or side effects, and post-treatment care instructions to ensure shopper safety
- Assessing shopper’s skin conditions and recommending appropriate options
- Evaluating shopper’s current skin care regimen and recommending changes as needed
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
- Skin care education: degree in dermatology, aesthetics or another related field or a broad experience in the skin care luxury sales category
- Good command of English
- 2 - 4 years of experience in skincare sales and promotions
- High comercial skills
- Capacity of communication with clients, team members and other retails workers
- Knowledge and practice to detect the need of existing and future clients
- Driving licence
