Marketing Finance Controller – Iberia

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Marketing Finance Controller – Iberia, you are responsible for marketing spend controlling across Prestige and Consumer Beauty.

You ensure end‑to‑end financial control of marketing investments in Iberia, delivering accurate closings, strong compliance, and actionable insights for Marketing Directors. You partner closely with Marketing, Media and Finance to drive efficiency, ROI and financial discipline across two divisions.

Your main focus:

• Budget planning and control of marketing spend: operating expenses by brands.
• Monthly tracking (M+1) of execution vs. budget and forecast; variance analysis and action recommendations.
• Financial closing: provisions, accruals and reconciliations of marketing spend
• Partnering with Marketing team and Directors: preparation of monthly reviews, and Ad-hoc analysis.
• Reporting: maintenance and improvement of financial dashboards related to marketing expenses.
• Process optimization: automation in Excel/Power BI (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced functions) and template standardization.
• Support for internal/external audits: evidence of controls, reconciliations and campaign/contract documentation.
• Ad hoc projects: tool improvements, efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement in marketing spend.

The team consists of 7 Finance Copilots, reporting into two managers. You will work closely with Marketing Prestige, Marketing Consumer Beauty, E‑commerce/Media, Sales Finance and Brand Finance. The team is dynamic, collaborative, open, and highly hands‑on. Working in this team feels energetic, supportive, and fast‑paced — perfect for someone who enjoys change and thrives in a business‑partnering environment.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to turn data into decisions, partner with Marketing, and bring structure to dynamic environments. As an experienced Marketing Controller, you work hands‑on, communicate clearly with different seniority levels, and enjoy influencing stakeholders. You get energy from working in a fast‑paced, diverse and international environment.

Other than that, you:

• Bring 10+ years of experience in Controlling/Finance, ideally in FMCG, pharma, or manufacturing
• Have strong expertise in marketing, trade or media controlling
• Master Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
• Have solid experience with SAP (mandatory)
• Know Power BI (basic modeling, DAX, dashboard maintenance)
• Master the English & Spanish language on a fluent level
