ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

The role will assist the Controlling team with all end-to-end planning, reporting and analysis activities to help deliver a high standard of reporting and analytical support to the business, in line with company objectives and with an emphasis on continuous process improvement.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a Business Unit close to business drivers and drainers, supporting both Prestige and Consumer Beauty divisions. You will be part of a team of 6 people, reporting to a Finance Senior position. This is a hands-on role where you will be able to discover end-to-end Finance processes in a multinational company: actuals, budgets, forecasts, variances analysis, SOX compliance, audits etc.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

Support submission of the financial forecast updates (Annual Plan, Forecasts, etc)

• Assist in the preparation of financial forecast submissions for divisional entities.
• Consolidate, validate and report results with relevant business insights and variance analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis based on business needs.

Support the month-end closing, reporting and analysis.

• Review, reconcile and follow up of data submission vs. expectations.
• Help producing both internal & external month-end deliverables leveraging on existing reporting tool (SAP Hana, Power Bi)
• Respond to finance related queries from internal departments and ensure follow-up in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

• Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (starting Oct 2023) for a full-time internship.
• Finance, Economics or Business studies with an understanding of the basic accounting principles.
• Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills, and comfortable working with big data and various financial and reporting systems. Analytical and inquisitive by nature – able to understand and spot trends in complex data and interpret them. Reliable with high standards of accuracy & precision.
• Knowledge of Power BI is nice to have.
• Great team player, Proactive and hands-on.
• Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
