Senior Finance Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide commercial finance support for Thailand Business Unit covering Luxury and Consumer Beauty division both, working closely with the Luxury TH Country Manager & Sales Director for SEA Export markets for Consumer Beauty division. Acts as co-pilot to strategically and operationally lead the business with them including decision support, ROI analysis, brand level analysis, identify risks & opportunities, finance priorities etc.
- Prepare the month-end closing (journal entries), reporting and analysis, the submission of financial forecast updates (Annual Plan, Profit Forecasts, Monthly Net Revenue Forecasts, Weekly Sales Updates, etc.)
- Ability to anticipate ahead so he or she could organize reviews/analysis to manage emerging issues or reporting needs that will provide business leads / SEA leadership team with the analytical insights to meet or exceed Annual Budget.
- Provide in-depth analysis and perspective on key customers/channels and local spend areas, such as advertising, promotions/discount. Ensure all Brand initiatives are appropriately assessed from a local point of view.
- Pricing/Discounts: Review & Maintenance of local market RSP / invoice prices in SAP
- Gross margin (C1) analysis & review to improve the gross margin performance including new items, promotion activities, discount, product mix etc.
- Evaluate business proposals and provide financial advices to commercial team to ensure company KPIs are achieved, i.e. revenues, expenses and performance of distributors.
- Drive continuous process improvement in reporting and analysis of financial KPIs
- Cash Flow - Cash management/Treasury - Lead working capital reduction for the BU – DSO, Overdues, Inventory, E&O and CAPEX
- Supervise record-keeping, and ensure proper financial reporting with support of local custodian organization and SSC, as well as management of financial risks for the company
- Maintain, review and document and improve internal control systems and procedures in the order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and accounting & reporting areas in compliance with SOX and Corporate Governance requirements.
- Review monthly financial closing balances (trial balance and HFM load), SEC Quarterly Reporting Pack for Thailand and ensure timely submission to Corp (per corporate deadlines)
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and tax regulation, SOX and Coty policy compliance and US GAAP.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Work on Special Projects in the areas system harmonization and enhancements as well as go to market changes.

- Minimum Degree Holder in Finance or any related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably gained within the FMCG industry or other Beauty sectors. Being qualified accountant is a plus with experience in SAP and HFM
- Strong business leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, and so is strong cultural awareness.
- Language: Fluent English and Thai
