About the role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for kickstarting the Consumer Beauty business based in Thailand.
A self-starter with strong multi-tasking skills, he/she will work with existing distributor to grow the Bodycare business, in direct negotiations with retailers to secure sell-in, product visibility and activations to drive sell-out.
He/she is expected to accelerate the Fragrance business in the right channels and to capture white spaces, directing the supply chain enabler to ensure rapid distribution roll-out.
He/she will support the organization in achieving strategic and financial goals of the brands in the market (Please refer to Annex for Consumer Beauty brands).
RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Responsible for all Consumer Beauty commercial targets and profitability.
- A top priority is to accelerate Coty’s Fragrance business in Thailand to systematically capture white spaces.
- Maintain strong partnership with distributor and channel retailers, collaborating closely to implement commercial excellence in body care as well as for fragrance (directly with retailers) to achieve sell-in, visibility, sell-out and profitability targets.
- Drive negotiations to develop trade plans aimed at driving sell-in and sell-out, with proper budget planning for launches and promotions (merchandising spaces & locations, prices, promotions, investments).
- Ensure accurate demand forecasting and planning to optimize inventory levels throughout the year, liaising closely between distributor partners and internal teams such as Demand Planning & Customer Service Teams to resolve issues.
- Be close to the ground to gather useful market intelligence for new business evaluation (new brands listing, new retailers, distribution expansion) to enhance brand image and distribution.
- Observe corporate and brand guidelines in line with Coty Brand Image in all door implementation.
- Ensure timely submission of JBP, business reports, market intelligence, plans, etc.
- Ability to work independently to drive speed-to-market, and collaboratively as a team player to achieve organizational goals.
REQUIREMENTS |
- Degree holder in Business or any relevant discipline.
- Min. 5 to 8 years’ experience in Sales and Retail Marketing/Trade Marketing for FMCG/Beauty industries.
- Ability to work effectively and productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilient and flexible to change, willing to take on new challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with excellent planning & multitasking ability.
- Mandatory: FMCG and Beauty/Fragrance sales and marketing experience.
- Mandatory skills: Strong MS excel and PowerPoint skills, public speaking skills.
- Language: Fluent English and Thai.
