Responsible for cleaning, draining, refilling and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum quality, safety and hygiene standards are achieved in line with work instructions and business standards. This role drives efficient washroom operations, equipment readiness, documentation accuracy and continuous improvement through high attention to detail.
THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our Washroom Operator, you play a critical role in cleaning, inspecting, operating and maintaining washroom equipment and supporting manufacturing operations through safe, efficient and compliant working practices, while ensuring quality, hygiene and continuous improvement standards are met.
You will be reporting to Washroom Team Leader/Supervisor, and you will manage:
1. Washroom Operations:
- Wash all tools and equipment returned from lines and vessels.
- Examine and inspect machines to detect malfunctions.
- Set controls to regulate temperature and length of cycles.
- Start conveyors, pumps, agitators, and machines.
- Perform cleaning activities as per daily/weekly schedule.
2. Equipment Readiness & Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure tasks are performed in a timely manner.
- Contribute to and participate in Rapid Improvement Events and Projects, as required.
- Follow basic Trouble Shooting Processes in order to address issues.
- Breakdown (disassembly) of equipment change parts.
- Perform efficient and accurate changeovers of filling equipment across production lines whilst following relevant standard operating procedures.
3. Safety, Quality & Team Support:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized operation of the Washroom, in an efficient manner.
- Carry out shift handovers and take responsibility for actions and outcomes.
- Assist in Planning activities where required to effectively meet customer requirements and participate in daily reviews.
- Follow all Company Safety Procedures and adhere to all processes, procedures and guidelines in place.
- Understand and apply Company quality standards, complete required documentation accurately and report quality issues to the Team Leader.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a detail-oriented team player with strong operational awareness, you thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment. You are collaborative, responsible and committed to quality, safety and hygiene standards.
- Factory experience desirable, but not essential.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Available for alternative shift pattern/fixed night shift.
- Capable of performing manual tasks, using manual handling equipment.
- Understanding of health & safety procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of quality standards, personal hygiene and GMP requirements.
- Ability to accurately complete required paperwork or related systems.
- Open to a diverse workplace and loves to work in a team.
