NEW PRODUCT INDUSTRIALIZATION LEAD

We are looking for an incredible individual to join the Coty team in Ashford as our New Product Industrialization Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In Ashford, we are aiming to establish the site as the global Centre of Excellence for Color Cosmetics. The New Product Industrialization Lead will actively contribute to this mission by collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Initiative Management, Quality, Production, Engineering as a member of Technical Product Services within the wider Innovation Team:

• To introduce New Product Innovations to site for industrial scale production
• To lead industrialisation of primary packaging & development of secondary and tertiary packaging
• To maximise Cost/Productivity efficiencies & Data accuracy at site level, as well as delivering distinctive, inclusive, and sustainable packaging solutions

Your main focus:

Project Lead & Execution

• Deliver New Product Innovations to time, cost and quality measures, including development of Secondary and Tertiary Packaging solutions and influencing design of primary packaging.
• Coordinate & supervise Line Trials to validate Packaging and Product on a given Production Line
• Lead handover of Innovations from Supply Chain Packaging to Production against aligned Success Criteria
• Construct & write component Specifications.
• Co-lead creation of base-complexity Innovations, using existing Pack & Formula chassis.
• Assess, respond to and implement packaging solutions for Business Continuity
• Advising industrialisation impacts of platform innovations across brands & sites.

Technical expertise

• Development of Secondary and Tertiary packaging solutions.
• Construction and writing of individual component specifications.
• Providing support for technical validation of new components necessary to support Production and Planning capacity plan needs
• Contributing to issue resolution such as Root Cause Analysis by providing packaging knowledge support to Production and Quality functions.
• Conduct component & finished goods testing as part of technical validation.
• Data administration for packaging aspects of business software to include Bills Of Materials and logistics data.
• Regular use of SAP to ensure the accuracy of data and records.
