In Coty Consumer Beauty, we are currently driving turnaround and value creation on our most iconic brands under the leadership of our Chief Brands Officer, Stefano Curti, a Coty Executive Committee member. Our global brand teams in Amsterdam, London, New York, Sao Paulo and Shanghai are driving Coty Consumer Beauty transformation and delivering a successful turnaround. This effort includes re-focusing our brands and innovation programs on strong consumer centricity, establishing a strong category growth story that makes sense of emergent needs and trends, and fixing base business restrains to unlock our ability to invest into future growth. We wish to build a stronger category geographic footprint and establish strong presence in future new profit pools.
Adidas is a great opportunity at Coty CB, with a powerful fashion house behind the brand and strong footprint in Germany, China and CEE among other markets.
The role will be located at the Coty Amsterdam headquarter, alongside our Colour Cosmetic & Mass Fragrance global teams.
THE ROLE
As the VP adidas, you will be accountable for unleashing the full potential of the brand portfolio by owning the long-term sustainable growth agenda to deliver against the strategic objectives of Coty. The portfolio spans across body care and fragrances, with opportunities to expand into skincare and colour cosmetics. You will lead and manage license relationship with adidas fashion house.
In your role you will further define the global brand ambition and strategy, deliver and deploy the plans behind the brand, projects and tools to achieve it and mobilize and align the organization behind the brand’s priorities. Your key areas of responsibility will be the following:
• Drive growth strategy which includes partition coverage, brand prioritization, pricing indexes, packaging formats, strategic profitability targets, channel mix requirements
• Translate the portfolio growth strategy into actionable plans to execute over the short/medium and longer term.
• Design, develop and validate scalable innovation initiatives to drive the portfolio value pipeline as well as integrated communication plans and playbooks to support the brand and portfolio
• Lead the overall innovation strategy and pipeline for the category
• Define the business development agenda in conjunction with local markets and support functions
• Interpret trend analysis and competitive landscape to inform strategy and identify new opportunities
• Lead and develop team to ensure execution is aligned with the set priorities.
• Manage the license relationship with adidas fashion house
Minimum Qualifications:
• Undergraduate/Graduate Degree (Business/Marketing degree preferred)
• 15+ years marketing experience (Beauty or CPG industry preferred), ideally with personal care category experience or working with prestige brands
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels
• Demonstrated people leadership and proven track record of coaching & developing

We are looking for you to highlight to us clear examples of how you have personally impacted both short and long term category and brand growth across geographies. Having achieved these results in the colour cosmetics category is a distinct advantage.
