SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNSHIPS

At Coty we are looking for ambitious Supply Chain Interns with a hands-on mentality. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will be working with one of our Supply Chain teams based in our Headquarters office in Amsterdam-Zuid, the Netherlands. This internship will be per January 2024.

About Supply Chain in Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam HQ organization houses a number of interlinked Supply teams. From Regional and Global Logistics, Supply Chain Transformation to Quality, S&OP to Supply Development: these Centers of Expertise provide the strategy, frameworks, guidelines across the Global and Regional Supply and Logistics community. The teams identify improvements/projects and roll these out to provide added value, service, efficiency and safety within our broader Supply Chain network

Within the Supply Chain function there are several roles available. Applicants can select which ones they would be interested in based on the brief descriptions below

Global Transport & Customs
The intern would investigate the developments and use of Artificial Intelligence in Transportation Management and support building a strategy for our team. Being responsible for global transport (Air, Sea and Road), we have a wealth of data related to the movement of Coty’s products across the world. The focus of the internship would be on Data Quality (identify errors, outliers and trends) and Data Analytics (CO2 emission, equipment utilization and transport costs), leading to improvement initiatives.

Demand Planning

Tasks that the future intern would work on:

• Working on 50/50 demand (stat forecast & Initiative planning)
• Support Demand planners in S&OP preparation
• Demand Project – the intern will get a project (not yet defined) with full end to end responsibility

Process Assurance

Tasks that the future intern would work on:

• Understand and document in flowchart processes
• Understand critical/key steps of processes

What can we offer?

We have four open Supply Chain Internship positions within Coty HQ. The open intern roles will be in the business areas of Demand Planning, Process Assurance, Global S&OP and Global Transport team.

Requirements

• HBO/WO Student (Bachelor/Master, Transport / Logistics / Supply Chain area), for these internships it is important you remain enrolled with your university.

• Passion for beauty and our brands, strong affinity with dynamic environment
• Analytical, good with numbers and strong excel skills.
• Does not shy away from responsibilities and is happy to provide added value.
• Proactive and hands-on
• Flexible and loves challenges.
• Good administrative & communication skills and likes to work in a team.
• Fluent in English

Period
This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 5-6 months and starts from September 2024. Remote working is possible up to 50% of your time, in alignment with your line manager. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
