Coty’s Consumer Beauty Division includes some of the most iconic brands within the beauty category. Brands like Covergirl, Adidas Personal Care, Rimmel, Max Factor, Bruno Banani and more fill our brand roster. In Consumer Beauty, it is our mission to return these brands into category leading positions that will drive value for our customers. The turnaround of our brands will require optimizations within the portfolio/physical/mental availability aspects of our business. These optimizations will ensure that we balance support for our coveted existing businesses and our exciting innovation plans through the lenses of building optimal portfolio architecture and maximizing productivity/profitability. Coty also aspires to build stronger category footprints and unlock future profit pools. Within this focus area, we also aim to evaluate global opportunities to launch existing brands into new markets. 


THE ROLE

 

Amsterdam based, manager level position.
Team forms part of Coty Global Marketing, and delivers strategy projects which aim to drive brand growth through data driven insights – projects include in depth analysis of the market, categories, and competitors through the lens of portfolio, pricing, distribution and media
Projects are delivered at a market level (business unit). Travel is required and is expected to be ~50% of working hours spent in local offices; subject to change given ongoing public health concerns around COVID. 
Insights from each project are presented to Coty’s global executive and local leadership teams.
Manager role is expected to deliver smaller projects independently (working solo) and larger project workstreams when working in a team of 3 or 4 (led by the Director)


Tasks expected in the role :

 

Project management
Storyboarding and hypothesis generation
Data analysis (primarily with Excel)
Slide creation (PowerPoint)
Presentation of findings to Coty’s global executive and local leadership teams
Training Global Marketing teams on newest insights
Continuous learning of Beauty and the sector


Minimum qualifications:

 

•             Graduate Degree (Business/Marketing degree preferred) 

•             6+ years Marketing/Trade Marketing/Commercial experience in Beauty

•             Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels

•             Advanced level Excel, PowerPoint skills are essential in this role.

•             Strong project management skills required
