Senior HR Business Partner (Maternity Cover - 7.5 month FTC)
As our HR Business Partner, you are responsible for providing dedicated HR support to functions including Finance, Supply Chain, Digital/ IT and you will have several HR project to manage ( people Management capability program also in your role you are part of the workscouncil). You will partner with around 150 employees based in our Netherlands office, delivering comprehensive HR generalist guidance while collaborating closely with HR Centers of Excellence and senior HR leadership.
In this role, you will oversee core HR partnering activities such as case management, coaching managers, driving engagement, and supporting talent, performance, and development initiatives. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, influence senior leaders, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Your main focus:
- Building trust and credibility with teams, coaching, supporting and directing them as appropriate, and partnering with line managers on all aspects of the people agenda.
- Leading annual people cycle activities across performance, talent management and reward, ensuring managers are equipped for quality conversations and upskilled on these processes.
- Leading specific recruitment activities, including liaison with central recruitment functions, agencies and internal/external candidates.
- Acting as the key liaison for HR COEs (Global Talent, Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, HRIS, Talent Acquisition) to ensure BNL/field populations align with global processes and best practices.
- Driving the employee engagement agenda through pulse checks, trend analysis and action planning, and supporting delivery of learning and development initiatives.
- Leading employee relations matters, partnering with Finance on budget, reporting and analytics, and supporting or leading ad-hoc HR projects such as Global Onboarding, People Management Capbilities and Global Benchmarking.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like to develop strong, credible relationships across all levels of the organization, can influence decision‑making with integrity, and communicate complex matters in a straightforward way. You get energy from working in a fast‑paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:
- Must be a native or fluent Dutch speaker, with proven experience as an HR Business Partner (or equivalent), delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business and your customer group. Experience in FMCG is an advantage.
- Bring a collaborative, relationship‑led approach and a pragmatic can‑do mindset, with the ability to influence with integrity.
- Value coaching and have strong knowledge of core HR disciplines, including performance and talent management, engagement, and employee relations.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of how the business operates and the evolving role of HR as a true business partner.
- Show a strong partnership mindset, balancing empathy and understanding with commercial and business realities.
- Have hands‑on experience with Dutch labour law and ER/LR matters.
