This role will work in close partnership with the Director Equity and and Consumer Engagement in order to develop and execute Rimmel's digital marketing activations and consumer experiences, from creative strategy planning to final delivery, across all digital touchpoints and markets.


The Digital Manager will partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Paid Media, E-commerce, Visual Merchandising and Local Marketing teams to ensure smooth digital activations execution and overall engaging omnichannel experience for consumers.


Working across new product launches, key commercial moments, and evergreen activations, you will focus on delivering best-in-class digital activation toolkits and support our regional markets with strategy and guidance to execute at local level.





  • Establish the end-to-end ownded channel + content digital marketing capabilities and strategy that aligns with the needs and goals of the businesses.

  • Lead the analytics and reporting function of digital channels and campaigns with a focus on optimization

  • You will support to plan, develop and design social interactions across the brand’s owned digital channels to increase brand exposure and strengthen brand image

  • In accordance with the brand’s image, you will decide the best platforms for social media presence and support to implement Social Media Optimization and Social Media Marketing campaigns, and participate in the development of real-time marketing content

  • Deliver digital activation excellence by developing innovative and engaging campaign strategies driving brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and loyalty for new product launches and key commercial moments.

  • Develop digital activations across all digital touchpoints including social, digital media, e-retail, website, any ad-hoc digital experience, CRM, and in-store digital touchpoints.

  • Lead the Social and Community component of owned digital channel and marketing campaigns and analyze and report on social community trending (pre and post) promotional launches to key internal stakeholders to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

  • Working with web designers and programmers to develop new website features or overhaul existing ones

  • Monitoring the performance of digital channels to ensure that they are reaching their target audiences and generating conversions


  • Establishing guidelines for content creation to ensure that all materials are consistent with the brand image

  • Drive assets creation for all consumer-facing digital touchpoints, ensuring content created is optimized for platforms and adhering to beauty best practices.

  • Partner with key markets to address local needs relevant for retailers and consumers in order to ensure success of the online consumer journey across all digital touchpoints.

  • Ideate, build, and implement ad-hoc digital experiences that deliver business value and improve consumer experience.  

  • Develop toolkits and guidelines for local implementation of owned digital channel content.



  • Partner with Global/Local Media teams to deliver paid media content based on best practices and best performing ad units.   



  • Full ownership

  • Continually improve visibility on all e-retailer touchpoints via toolboxes/guidelines creation and continuous e-retailer audits.

  • Develop a variety of exclusive e-retailer content, tools and experiences.

  • Develop e-retailer templates (PDP+, content page, brand page).




  • Identify opportunities, develop new strategies, propose new support models, and initiate new technologies to increase conversion on third-party retailers.


Budget Management


  • Support with the brand marketing budget, raising POs, helping to resolve supplier invoice queries and ensuring all budget trackers are maintained correctly.



  • 8+ years digital marketing experience in a fast-paced environment (beauty/luxury experience strongly preferred)

  • Strategic thinker with strong project management skills required

  • Be highly organized with ability to prioritize work with a sense of urgency/ownership and meet deadlines

  • Must have excellent understanding of digital projects development life cycle 

  • Excellent problem solving-skills

  • Experience in Indesign/Adobe Suite is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrate a pro-active attitude and flexible approach.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships and be a good team player.

  • High level of numeracy, marketing sense, PC skills, maturity and communication skills.

  • Skilled in written/verbal and delivering presentations

  • Current on emerging trends and technologies and passionate about the digitally driven consumer decision journey

  • Be accustomed to work cross-functionally, with a lot of internal and external partners

  • Fluent in English, with previous international experience/exposure
