THE ROLE
The Procurement business crafts tailored recommendations within the supply chain organisation to drive the business forward. She/he collects, analyses, and presents data & key insights working in tight collaboration with Category and IMP buyers and (Procurement Finance and Supply Chain Planning. Supporting savings projects, she/he provides strategic & operational guidance leveraging key insights to drive more robust plans & ideas to implement at the Market Effect level.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key areas of responsibility will be the following:
- Be part of a new support team inside our Global Procurement team at the HQ, managing a project portfolio of initiatives that will provide a data-based repository to ease strategic decisions for our Procurement community.
- Monitor business performance and define success metrics to monitor commodity market effect and saving projects.
- Provide accurately and timely a database repository for product pricing.
- Support the preparation of Strategic internal & external meetings, including negotiation with suppliers, assisting buyers with presentations, and high-quality data & information visualisation.
- Develop Business Intelligence tools to monitor KPIs and support decision-making.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Minimum Order Quantity Sizing studies.
- Collaborate with logistic teams in the search for transportation-saving opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience in a supply chain role as a business analyst or background in handling SAP Material Master Data
- Advanced Excel experience with pivot tables, databases, VBA-supported macros, and Power BI tools is mandatory.
- Experience in SAP ERP Master data in Procurement/ Planning or Finance.
- Licences and courses related to APICS, SAP, S4, and MM will be considered a plus.
- Experienced in working in a multi-functional environment.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
