Principal Accountant - HQ & TP

THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Headquarter:
- Acts as a facilitator of the end-to-end Month End close (MEC) specific HQ processes ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and US GAAP requirements.
- Full ownership of the balance sheet with HQ/Executive entities specific accounts. Identifies and analyze unusual or reconciling items and take appropriate actions to resolve all the accounts including the ones which are under SSC scope for reconciliation preparations). Review balance sheets accounts / specs under control by other parties (e.g., co-pilots, SSC, AR & HR) and align if needed ensure on time follow up and cleaning.
- Ensure smooth external audit process for both US and local GAAP audits. Support in the internal audit process and safeguard on time follow up on the action plans in case of deficiencies within the RTR process.
- Support in the process of the applicable other taxes declaration (Tax department has the end responsibility).
Operational Transfer Pricing:
- Support the Transfer Pricing adjustments procedure incorporation into quarterly/yearly close process.
- Detailed review and understanding of TP Engine output. Support in documenting and communicating new TP engine processes to management and local teams.
- Perform all the maintenance tasks required for the TP engine maintenance (import HFM hierarchies, import HFM P&L, import FX rates, import manual positions, including SAP data, refresh data etc.).
- Participation in journal entry postings and invoices as well as ensuring full reconciliation of intercompany positions. Alignment of HFM/SAP data between TP engine and local statutory, incorporating this data in the TP engine.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Key requirements
- Financial accountancy experience to a minimum of 5 years.
- Experience in operational transfer pricing will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS office applications, particularly Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in BI applications, and extensive knowledge of SAP/HFM.
- Able to handle / priorities task and workload and those of the team.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Focused individual, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in Principal/Limited Risk Distributor (LRD)Structure or Supply chain accounting is a plus.
