About The Department

In the Team for our European Distributor Markets (EDM), we are responsible for our Prestige (Makeup, Fragrances and Skincare) and Consumer Beauty (Color Cosmetics, Mass Scenting and Bodycare) businesses in > 40 countries in EMEA, through >30 independent distributors as well as some of EMEA’s biggest and fastest growing E-Com customers. Our scope of countries includes a wide range of business models and demographic/cultural differences, resulting in very diverse trade and consumer landscapes ranging from Scandinavia to Israel, from Greece to Eastern Europe including the CIS region and also touching consumer in key markets across Western Europe via our E-Com executions. We are a dynamic and international team of highly motivated professionals and, together with our colleagues from the broader EDM organization, we are shaping the future of our brands in markets with >350 M consumers. The Role

Coty is seeking a highly motivated person to join Coty`s Merchandising team for the Europe Distributor Markets. This role will closely collaborate with the full commercial team, Marketing and Sales, with Finance as well as Distributors – working on both Coty Prestige and Consumer Beauty brands. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support and follow up local markets (distributors) on their specific needs and requests to ensure all the yearly updates based on global guidelines and regional merchandising plan. 

• Coordinate communication of planograms & visual updates and changes to all markets. Ensures markets follow guidelines and manage POSM received accordingly. 

• Support of innovation forecasts coordinating the market needs, budget constraints and regional merchandising plan. And follow up with the Supply Chain and Customer Service Team. 

• Support Merchandising Manager on local fixture production (Gondola/ Backwalls), raises POs, tracks progress, ensures timely installation. 

• Touch base with local markets ensuring VM guidelines are implemented, receive pictures & feedback, and devise action plans as needed. 

• Report new VM installations/updates on a monthly basis. 

Requirements 

• Passion for beauty and our brands, and a strong affinity with the dynamics of the FMCG 

• HBO/WO Student (Bachelor/Master), for this internship it is important you remain enrolled with your university during the whole internship 

• Proactive and hands-on 

• Flexible and loves challenges 

• Good communication skills and likes to work in a team 

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills 

• Fluent in English 

Period 

This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 6 months and starts from early September 2025 to February 2026. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
