Manager Max Factor Innovation
An exciting opportunity within Coty Consumer Beauty Division to make an impact on Max Factor Colour Cosmetics Innovation!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Sr. Brand Director, you will be responsible for the development & deployment of brand innovation projects and strategy. You will have the opportunity to write the next chapter of an iconic brand, with more than 100 years of history, committed to empower consumers around the world to reveal their most extraordinary self.
Your main focus:
- Lead strategic global innovation plan and project development primarily for the face category, but with opportunities to work on other categories such as eyes and lips
- In partnership with cross-functional teams, establish and implement a forward-thinking innovation strategy aligned with the brand’s overall vision and goals.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior & portfolio opportunities to identify growth territories for disruptive innovation.
- Partner with R&D to identify and develop innovative technologies & formulas that are relevant to Max Factor, bringing together business, consumer and cultural insights.
- Implement packaging design strategy for the brand, enhancing our executions across all touchpoints
- Lead development of product concepting/messaging hierarchies and support activation opportunities, creative territory and storytelling in partnership with the integrated communications team
- Drive speed to market and determine the go-to-market strategies and business models for new products and core portfolio
- Apply critical thinking to ensure strategy, portfolio and assortment choices are connected to long term vision, broader marketing plans and retail excellence strategy
- Enhance innovation and launch performance reporting and ensure qualitative & quantitative KPIs are established and that goals are clear and measured.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a Brand Manager, you possess a healthy attitude under pressure and feel energised from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you will have:
- 6/7+ years of experience in international brand and product management (beauty/luxury experience strongly preferred).
- You are a strategic thinker with strong innovation and project management skills
- You like to work and build relationships with cross-functional teams, are highly structured, organized and able to manage global projects in an efficient way.
- Demonstrate creativity & originality in thinking and are courageous to challenge status quo with a constructive attitude, generating new ideas & solutions
- Have excellent technical affinity with and understanding of packaging, product, formulations and ingredients
- Have a creative mindset with a strong eye for design, detail and storytelling
- Are a strong communicator (written and verbal) with a pro-active attitude and fluent in English
- Are on top of current on emerging trends and technologies and passionate about the digitally/influencer driven consumer decision journey
- Consumer Focus: understanding and empathizing with the target audience to create products that meet their needs.
