The Role
We’re looking for a Global Social Media and Communications Manager to support our global Corporate Affairs team in two areas: i) corporate social media (50%), ii) global corporate communication projects (50%). As one of the world’s leaders in the beauty industry, we interact with a diverse and active set of audiences and stakeholders. Nowadays digital communication and especially social media is one of the core channels to engage with these stakeholders but also to transmit some of our core corporate messaging. This role will have the opportunity to shape, lead and execute global communication campaigns as part of the central communications team that develops, coordinates and executes Coty corporate communications worldwide.
Main Responsibilities:
CORPORATE SOCIAL MEDIA
- Leading Coty’s corporate social media strategy and agenda across six channels: Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube
- Ownership of the corporate social media calendar
- Creating content (copywriting + assets creation/adaptation), and publishing it across Coty corporate social media channels
- Working with internal stakeholders to source information/assets/approvals for our ongoing social media communication
- Daily monitoring of digital space and social media, to identify relevant and shareable content as well as media trends and insights/key cultural moments
- Community management - managing response to comments and questions and identifying opportunities to open conversations with key influencers
- Coming up with cut through ideas for innovative social campaigns aiming at building engagement and reach
- Monthly analytics per channel - ability to measure, analyze and evaluate content performance on social media platforms, to continually improve communications
GLOBAL CORPORATE COMMUNICATION PROJECTS
- Support leveraging Coty milestones via our internal and external channels.
- Support on media opportunities, corporate PR and Investor Relations events
- Support developing Coty’s narrative by preparation of concepts, talking points, Q&A’s etc.
- Copywriting and proof-reading of corporate Coty texts and assets
- Supporting strategic on-the-ground events in the company HQ office in Amsterdam
- Support for other priority communication projects
About you:
- >5 years’ experience in digital/social media/marketing role either in a communications agency or a multinational company. Beauty/FMCG industry experience would be an additional plus
- Experience with media relations and PR
- High degree of fluency of English is required
- Deep Digital & Social Media knowledge
- Great copywriting skills, journalistic background would be an additional plus
- Strong project management skills
- Proactive and motivated self-starter able to deliver within tight timelines
- Proven background in community management
- Creative eye for creating and curating aesthetic content
- Basic graphic design and video editing capabilities would be an additional plus
- Passion for the beauty industry
- Energetic with a positive attitude, keen to learn and develop skills
