The Role:

The Global Manager of paid Media will have responsibility for building Coty Media Strategies for the European based Mass color cosmetic, body care and scenting brands including amongst others Rimmel, Max Factor and Adidas. Through strategic thinking and local tactical execution tracking, this talent will use the power of traditional and digital paid media as well as earned media to contribute to the profitable and sustainable growth of the brands.  She/He will use their leadership skills and influence power to ensure that global strategies are translated into local executions.  This talent will therefore coordinate and partner with a strong network of local media/marketing communities across the globe.


The Global Media Manager will be part of a team which will implement global brand strategies, coordinate campaigns across multiple platforms offline and online, as well as ensuring the compliancy of the local strategies.



  • Champion and implement the CB growth media strategy globally and locally  
  • Develop the Global CB Media brand strategies with the media Agency of Record and work closely with local markets to implement 
  • Contribute to develop mass scenting portfolio strategy covering the full consumer journey
  • Collaborate internally with Brand Marketing teams to ensure Media is a contributor to their brand growth
  • Day to day plan and budget Monitoring/tracking/evaluation/optimization
  • Proactively drive and coordinate global launch activations across relevant platforms (i.e. TikTok)
  • Accountable for delivering against business goals/objectives, ensuring the best ROI possible
  • Continually communicate and evaluate progress against key metrics while constantly looking at ways to optimize performance
  • Work closely with the data team to understand the competitive marketplace and key takeaways from PCAs
  • Proactively collaborate with key centralized resources such as marketing, ecommerce, digital, PR/influencer, data & analytics etc. 
  • Develop and execute ongoing media presentation for global Brands and key stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship and collaboration with the media Agency of Record
  • Proactively support the implementation of our digital transformation within the Consumer Beauty organization



Qualifying Skills and Experience:

  • 6-8 years in media having spent significant time with media strategy across all media channels (TV, Digital, OOH, Print)
  • Managed media budgets across multiple brands/sub-brands, client or agency side
  • Strong knowledge of digital media landscape and current/emerging platforms & technologies
  • Substantial experience with digital media strategy and activation to build synergies with Ecom and E-retail teams
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Track record of creating and executing a Global Media strategy answering business objectives
  • Strong understanding of the KPIs to optimize media performance
  • Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams within a dynamic, matrix organization
  • Experience in growing strong partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Active learner who is willing to experiment and be open minded to new ideas and technology
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
  • Earned and owned media experience appreciated
  • Global and beauty experience appreciated
