About The Department 

The Global FP&A team is based in Coty’s headquarters in Amsterdam. You will support the Global FP&A team in contributing to the Coty Group Management Reporting & Financial Planning/Forecasting activities and analyze business performance.

The Role 

During the internship you will

• Help with preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for executive leadership and the Finance Leadership Team (FLT)
• Support and help coordinating Coty’s annual Budget and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles
• Assist with the commercial reporting on Oracle (it will allow you to understand how reports are set up on Oracle)
• Support management reporting and planning tools enhancements (Hyperion Essbase/Planning)

Requirements

• In the process of getting a Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting preferred or equivalent (not essential)
• Experience in Excel and PowerBI
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinking, strong ownership to take initiative and to drive action and results
• High standard of accuracy and precision; highly organized; good operational discipline
• Self-motivated, high level of transparency and integrity, enjoy working in fast evolving business environment
• Self-starter, proactive, solution-oriented and has own it, drive in mentality
• As an EU citizen you will need to be enrolled in a European university for the whole duration of the internship. For non-EU citizens, you will need to be enrolled in a Dutch university for the whole duration of this internship program

Period

This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 5-6 months and starts from September 2023. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
