THE ROLE
An exciting 6-month opportunity within Coty Consumer Beauty Division to make an impact on the
fragrance business!
As Global Commercial Planning Senior Manager for Mass Scenting, you play a pivotal role in shaping the growth trajectory of Coty’s most dynamic Consumer Beauty category. Working on brands such as bruno banani, mexx, David Beckham and many more, you will act as the strategic connector between global strategy and local execution, ensuring that innovations and commercial plans translate into sustainable, profitable success worldwide.
In this role, you will partner directly with global brand teams, regional leads, and local markets to guide operational readiness, enforce pricing discipline, and drive flawless execution of go-to-market strategies. You will be a visible and influential counterpart for markets, ensuring alignment and bringing strategic insight that strengthens commercial excellence across the board.
Your key areas of responsibility will be the following:
- Recommend and implement go-to-market strategies to maximize NPD commercialization
- Translate global strategies into actionable commercial plans for markets, ensuring readiness and alignment.
- Partner with regions to drive ambitious forecasts, allocate support effectively, and ensure disciplined execution.
- Monitor readiness governance and follow through with corrective actions when needed.
- Gather and consolidate performance insights and scorecards to refine strategies and strengthen market impact.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices across regions and markets.
- Drive portfolio growth and commercial governance for Mass Scenting
- Collaborate with global brand and regional/local teams to maximize portfolio performance per channels and deliver against commercial targets.
- Ensure compliance with licensors’ distribution principles while expanding the brand footprint.
- Contribute to market expansion plans by consolidating insights and identifying white space opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and market influence
- Serve as a strategic connector between global strategy and local execution, ensuring clarity, alignment, and impact at every stage.
- Proactively influence your regional and local peers, guiding them toward disciplined execution and sharp commercial excellence
- Strengthen Coty’s commercial culture by embedding governance, promoting best practices, and challenging stakeholders to raise the bar.
This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational discipline. You will play a visible role with markets and regions, directly influencing the readiness and success of Coty’s Mass Scenting portfolio worldwide.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Min Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree: 8+ years’ experience in Trade Marketing and/or Category Management and/or Sales in FMCG (experience in Beauty industry is a plus)
- Strategic commercial acumen as well as solid trade governance establishment
- High analytical skills are compulsory to succeed in this role: ability to analyze but above all interpret complex sets of data to draw business recommendations
- You’re known for your strong strategic thinking: embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details
- You are forward-looking and eager for strong ownership
- You must be experienced at managing multiple stakeholders across various teams and be smart & shrewd to influence at all levels: persuade others, articulate a point of view, and set direction
- Must have the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships: gaining the respect of the global cross-functional teams as well as the local Senior lead teams will be key to succeed
- You can lean on your strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation ability
- You love to drive clarity and agility: You don’t get easily stressed by a fluid environment, on the other hand, you get energized by the opportunity to drive clarity for the team, you are quick to adapt as new information becomes available.
