REGIONAL PROCUREMENT SENIOR CATEGORY MANAGER LOGISTICS – AIR AND OCEAN FREIGHT
THE ROLE
Regional Procurement Sr Manager Logistics Americas leads all Air and Ocean logistics spend Globally. This role will build and manage a cost efficient, sustainable, and flexible supplier base, in line with the Supply Chain goals of the organisation necessitating strong stakeholder relationships with supply chain colleagues. Understanding and experience in beauty logistics is relevant and efficiencies are driven through leveraging knowledge.
Spend approx. of 40M-50M USD.
Sr Manager will be in close relationships with galaxy of key stakeholders in supply chain and finance. The person is part of Supply Chain Leadership Team Global driving overall business agenda across the region.
Reporting to Global Category Logistics Director the person is to:
- Develop a robust long term Global Strategy aligned with key internal stakeholders and leveraging industry dynamics and suppliers with support of your stakeholders
- Deliver end-to-end and sustainable value creation,
- Develop strong supplier relationships to accompany our turnaround strategy and our innovations.
Profile and Education
- At least 5-7 years of combined supply and procurement experience
- Experience in Beauty is a strong plus
- Meaningful experience in both in Air and Ocean freight, Road freight is a plus.
- Experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization.
- Degree qualified.
- High degree of fluency of English is required.
Key competencies:
- Stakeholder management expertise up to and including EC level
- Confident, transparent, clear communication style incl. presentation skills
- People management a plus
- Result oriented, hands-on individual with solid track record
- Business acumen and interpersonal savvy,
- Mobility for travelling (ca. 10% of working time)
