GLOBAL CATEGORY SENIOR BUYER

We are looking for a Global Category Senior Buyer to join our Raw Materials Procurement Team playing a pivotal role in managing multiple raw material categories. Reporting to the Global Procurement Director for Raw Materials, you’ll work across an exciting portfolio, supporting our Fragrance, Color Cosmetics, Skincare, and Body Care divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Global Category Senior Buyer, you will drive the implementation of our global sourcing strategy, ensuring vendors deliver exceptional service levels while optimizing Total Cost of Ownership.

In this high-impact role you will be the main driver creating “value” (driving both bottom-line (savings) and topline (External Innovation). The position is expected to deliver ‘Cost out’, ‘Value in’ and ‘Cash in’ for Coty and you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Finance, ensuring alignment and maximizing results..  

Your main focus:

• Globally manage portfolio of diverse raw material Categories  
• Analyze data, run benchmarks, and turn insights into actionable strategies.
• Design and implement sourcing strategies to optimize performance and deliver results.
• Lead cross-functional projects to ensure effective execution and alignment.
• Contribute to the delivery of short-medium & long-term category objectives.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to execute category strategies and initiatives.
• Partner with Raw Material teams and leadership to establish Global/Regional Preferred Vendor lists.
• Develop and implement a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, driving year-on-year improvement and advancing sustainability goals.

The team comprises 4 Global Category Senior Buyers, and you will collaborate closely with various departments, including R&D Categories, Sustainability, Supply Chain, and Planning. YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You thrive on tackling complex challenges within global matrix organizations. As an experienced Global Category Senior Buyer, you are proactive and hands-on, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

You excel in fast-paced, diverse, and international environments, and you bring the following key skills:

• 6+ years of experience in procurement. Experience in FMCG/Beauty Industry environment; & previous experience in Raw Material sourcing is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills: curious, inquisitive, a strong listener, and a natural leader. Capable of zooming in and out, with the ability to "connect the dots" and translate complex data into key insights, leveraging your analytical mindset.
• Ability to drive clarity and agility: You don’t get easily stressed by a fluid environment, on the other hand, you get energized by the opportunity to drive clarity for the team, you are quick to adapt as new information becomes available.
• Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or Chemistry Degree qualified.
• Team player with strong passion for winning and a bias for action: You believe in strong collaboration, leverage diversity of thinking and love to win. You are future oriented, are not bound by the status quo and recognize what can be improved.
