SENIOR BUYER GLASS CATEGORY

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as Senior Buyer – Glass Category, to help shape a global glass supply base driving innovation, sustainability and value at Coty.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Senior Buyer – Glass Category, you are responsible for category strategy, supplier partnerships, value creation. Lead the development and execution of a competitive, sustainable global glass sourcing strategy, ensuring cost effectiveness, quality, service, innovation and sustainability across a complex, international supply environment.

Your main focus:

Develop and implement category strategy

• Build and execute the glass category sourcing strategy across multiple plants
• Ensure right quality, service and cost effectiveness
• Drive productivity plans aligned with cost, quality, service and sustainability

Manage supplier partnerships and contracts

• Build strong relationships with glass makers and decorators
• Negotiate major global and regional contracts
• Own supplier performance and relationship management

Drive value creation and transformation

• Develop market, industry and commodity intelligence
• Drive sustainability initiatives including PCR, CO₂ reduction and lightweighting
• Transform category practices through should‑cost models and digitisation

The team consists of global Category and IPM Buyers, and you will work closely together with several departments such as R&D Packaging, Planning, Site Procurement Leaders, Supply Chain, Quality and Sustainability.

Working in the team, you contribute to shaping global category strategy and supplier ecosystems.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to work in complex, international environments and drive impact through data‑driven procurement decisions. As an experienced Senior Buyer, you work hands‑on, manage multiple stakeholders and thrive under pressure in fast‑paced settings. Other than that, you:

• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement within an international and matrix organization
• Hold a degree in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or a related field; MBA is advantageous
• Are fluent in English; French is advantageous
• Bring strong analytical, negotiation, influencing and project management skills
