THE ROLE
We are looking for a Global Buyer to join our Industrial category team to support the management of CAPEX, MRO, Energy and R&D categories. The portfolio will give you full exposure to our manufacturing and R&D business. The purpose is to execute the category strategy to warrant process compliance, reduce Total Cost of Ownership and drive value in from Suppliers. The position is expected to create spend and process insight on group level to share savings opportunities and transferring best practice experiences across Coty. The position will ensure appropriate support on day to day business and projects for local business.
Reporting to the Global Senior Manager Industrial, the Global Indirect Buyer Industrial will have the major responsibilities described as follow:
- Lead sourcing projects E2E in line with category plans (RFI, RFP, direct negotiations)
- Implement results of sourcing events and category transformation targets
- Market & data analysis, external benchmarking
- Spend analysis & internal benchmarking to identify and roll out best practices
- Manage full contract life cycle with legal and enforce agreed conditions with suppliers
- Build up relationships to influence colleagues (manufacturing, engineering, R&D and finance)
- Manage supplier relationships on project and operational level
- Support in development and execution of category strategy
- Ensure innovation, quality, cost competitiveness delivered on time
- Support the business and procurement to reach their respective objectives
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Your profile
- Engineering, Business and/or Procurement graduate ideally with a post-graduate qualification
- 3 to 5 years work experience in procurement, operations or engineering
- Experience in an international environment and matrix organization
- Process oriented thinking, curiosity and affinity for technical environment
- Autonomous and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- High level of commitment

- Strong problem-solving techniques; curious, team player and leader; attention to detail / good project management. You know how to translate complex data into a key take outs with your analytical mindset.
- Strong communication (Verbal and written) and presentation ability. Ability to work across different levels in the organization and across different teams to ensure everyone is updated on key timelines and/or decisions
