EMEA Indirect Procurement Senior Director

We are looking for an experienced EMEA Indirect Procurement Senior Director to join our procurement team and lead indirect procurement activities across Europe and the Middle East, reporting to the SVP Procurement Partnering & Transformation. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with company policies and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our EMEA Indirect Procurement Senior Director you will collaborate closely with category leaders to ensure that regional feedback shapes category strategies and that their implementation aligns with regional needs. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong relationships and influence decisions at both regional and local levels.

Your main focus:

· Strategic Business Partnership & Collaboration: Partner with commercial leaders (GM, CFO, Marketing & Sales Directors) to align procurement strategies with commercial plans, ensuring cross-functional needs are seamlessly integrated.

· Procurement Strategy Development & Execution: Implement and refine procurement strategies that align with company objectives, while incorporating regional and local requirements to maximize impact & drive impactful results.

· Supplier & Risk Management: Develop strong supplier relationships, manage regional contracts, monitor performance, and upload compliance and risk standards.

· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering collaboration and growth.

· Budget & Performance Oversight: Manage procurement activities within budget, execute cost-saving initiatives, track performance metrics, and uphold financial accountability.

· Market Insight & Analysis: Stay informed of market trends and potential risks to support informed decision-making and maintain a competitive procurement edge.

As an experienced Regional Indirect Procurement Senior Director for EMEA, you bring a high level of motivation, a can-do attitude, exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities, along with strong leadership and communication skills. You’re energized by a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Additionally, you possess the following skills:

· Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management or commercial areas preferably at a director level. Experience from direct and indirect categories is a plus.

· Previous international experience and indirect A&CP knowledge is a very strong advantage.

· Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Adaptability and working in ambiguity: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs. Ability to navigate in matrix and divisional organisation.
