About The Department

In the Sales Team for our European Distributor Markets (EDM), we are responsible for our Prestige and Consumer Beauty business in > 40 countries in the EMEA region. Furthermore, we manage some of the biggest and fastest growing e-com retailers in Europe as well as some newcomers in the Beauty category. We are a dynamic and international team of highly motivated salespeople and together with our colleagues from the broader EDM organization we are shaping the future of our brands in markets with > 300 M consumers. We do this in close collaboration with our distributor and retail partners, and we cover a wide range of different business models.

The Role 

Coty is seeking a highly motivated E-Commerce intern to join Coty’s E-Commerce team for the Europe Distributor Markets, located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As intern, you will be contributing to our digital acceleration strategy, ensuring that digital first is brought to life with our biggest and most strategic customers. In this role, you will be part of an experienced team of Digital & Trade Marketing Managers to develop the business in line with the agreed strategies and targets. You will support the Digital Manager and Trade Marketing Managers on our major accounts, help in defining our marketing strategy, ensure a perfect execution and help building a strong collaboration with the customer.

Key Responsabilities 

• Support the team with day-to-day e-retailer (such as Notino, Amazon and Farfetch - online retail platforms) tasks incl. assortment optimization, new launches support, and retailer media campaign materials
• Analyze the e-Commerce performance of our top retailers across Europe
• Monitoring – campaigns, competition & content for all customers, monthly highlights
• Ongoing improvement of content and e-store fundamentals with focus on multichannel approach maximizing our potential to grow
• Help organizing Ecommerce capability events for all colleagues
• Retail Media - Competition monitoring and building successful cases and sharing learnings
• Global eCom projects – e.g. VTO’s, Social commerce, SEO optimization Test & learns.
• Similarweb – create dashboards, monthly and ad hoc website analyses.
• Trade plans – optimizing competitive promotional planning
• Ratings & Reviews campaigns

In this full-time internship, you will report into the Senior Digital and eCommerce Manager who is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

• A first experience in digital or the beauty industry is a plus
• As an EU citizen you will need to be enrolled in a European university for the whole duration of the internship. For non-EU citizens, you will need to be enrolled in a Dutch university for the whole duration of this internship program

Period

This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 6 months and starts from September 2023. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
