CONSUMER BEAUTY GLOBAL COMMERCIAL FINANCE SENIOR ANALYST 

Maternity Leave Cover: temporary contract for 6 months 

AMSTERDAM

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Consumer Beauty Finance team. This is a co-pilot role that will partner closely with local FP&A teams — to provide strategic financial insights, support business decision-making, and help drive growth and profitability across the Consumer Beauty portfolio. This role will lead with all end-to-end planning, reporting and analysis activities, to deliver a high standard of reporting and analytical support to the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Financial reporting and analysis:

• Lead in preparation and analysis of reporting and analysis, covering full divisional P&L, from Gross Sales to Operating Income.
• Ensure timely, quality, complete and consistent in global reporting consolidation

 Budgeting and forecasting:

• Own end to end planning drumbeats.
• Lead meaningful financial management information and reports, including Weekly sales update, Monthly Outlook review, Annual Operating Plan/ Forecast review and Sign-Off.
• Provide advanced modelling and analysis of data and reports as required by key stakeholders across the business. Maintain and update routine templates, look into areas for process improvement and streamline.

Finance Business partnering:

• Co-Pilot with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain team on a regular basis for reporting and analysis matters, including Sales & Operating Planning cycle.
• Responsible for month-end close with the rest of the central Finance team
• Develop good rapport and working relationship with other functions and markets.

Ad-hoc:

• Support senior finance manager for monthly/ quarterly management presentations, AOP, Forecast, Strat Plan, Outlook presentation, and ad-hoc presentations.
• Lead in ad-hoc projects as required
• Take initiative to improve status-quo.

Other than that, you have: 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA a plus).
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or beauty industries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, Power BI).
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
