Commercial Record to Report Manager

As our Commercial Record To Report Manager you are responsible for acting as the single point of contact for RTR related topics for the TREX tower, supporting the Financial Controller Commercial entities in overall team coordination and work allocation to the General Ledger accountants.


Your main focus (in addition to other key responsibilities and expectations) includes:


  • Supports and guides the team, alongside with review of the statutory annual accounts according to Dutch GAAP
  • Ability to translate transactions from US GAAP to Dutch GAAP
  • Take full ownership of the balance sheet for the TREX tower under his/her responsibility. Ensure to identify and analyze unusual or reconciling items and take appropriate actions to resolve exceptions. Review balance sheets accounts / specs under control by other parties (e.g., co-pilots, Accounts Receivable & HR) and align if needed ensure on time follow up and cleaning..
  • Acts as a facilitator and coordinator of the end-to-end Month End close (MEC) process of the TREX - ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and US GAAP requirements.
  • Overall review of quarterly analytical & reporting packs for the company for SEC reporting and coordination of all the contributors to these packs.
  • Act as support alongside with the Financial Controller Commercial entities for the end-to-end Month End close (MEC) process of NL/BE entities ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations and US GAAP requirements, also supporting in work allocation to the GL accountant.

The team consists of the RTR commercial manager, GL accountant & GL accountant, treasury single point of contact, RTR commercial manager and Financial Controller. You will work closely together with departments including HR and Treasury plus co-pilot teams and external stakeholders. All your colleagues are friendly, helpful and very welcoming!

Other than that, you will have:

  • Financial accountancy experience to a minimum of 6 years and qualified with a recognized accounting body (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
  • Proven track record of leading a team (to be able to manage BPO team).
  • Strong Dutch GAAP knowledge & knowledge of Belgium GAAP is desirable.
  • Experience with CaseWare of other software used for Annual Statement preparation is a plus
